哥國生活最後一週 My last week in CR

明天開始就是在哥斯大黎加的最後一週了，這裡真的是個很棒的國家，要是學會西語其實讓我住這裡也可以(去泰國的時候好像也是這麼想的，哈哈哈)。

下面分享一些沒有一定順序或關聯性的事情： 1. Fresh Market(超市)是個好鄰居，日常基本需求都能在這裡買到，再來就是Auto Mercado還有WalMart了。順帶一提，上個月剛開幕的City Mall是中美洲規模最大的百貨公司。 2. 週末旅遊：火山、海邊、雨林、瀑布、溫泉、咖啡園。 3. 小動物好多，壁虎、樹蛙、大(巨)嘴鳥、大藍閃蝶、蜂鳥、各種節肢動物 4. 早餐：豆子炒飯+炒蛋+西瓜+草莓+木瓜+煎芭蕉+香腸+咖啡 5. 聖誕節傳統食物：玉米粽子(同事說一顆聖誕粽子的熱量相當於五片披薩!!) 6. 紅色計程車與橘紅色計程車，前者滿街跑，後者我只有在機場看過。 7. 咖啡：雖然產量不大，但是品質排名世界1,2,4,5名。一等咖啡豆基本上都外銷，二三等銷國內。(咖啡的產量其實已經超越芭蕉了！) 8. 作物：咖啡、鳳梨、玉米、蕃茄、西瓜、木瓜、草莓、甘蔗、數種薯類作物等。 9. 木薯薯片超好吃，特別是配檸檬汁(現切現擠)。 10. Pura vida：(英譯: pure life.)哥國常用的回答打招呼詞彙。

It’s going to be my last week in Costa Rica from tomorrow, this is a great country, if I can speak Spanish fluently, it’s totally fine for me to live here (I guess that’s what I said before when visiting Thailand, ha ha ha).

Here are some random things that I would like to share about Costa Rica:

1. Fresh Market (super market) is your good neighbor, you can basically get your daily supplies here. You can also go for Auto Mercado and WalMart if you need a bigger variety of things. Just opened last month, City Mall is the biggest mall in the central America. 2. My weekend tours: volcanos, beach, rain forest, waterfall, hot spring, coffee farm. 3. There are a lot of little creatures, geckos, frogs, toucans, blue morpho, hummingbirds and a lot of Arthropods’. 4. Breakfast: gallo pinto, scrambled eggs, watermelon, strawberries, papaya, plantains, sausage, coffee.

5. Tamales: steam corn flour, potatoes, vegetables and meat in a plantain leaf (According to a colleague, this food is said to have the same amount of calories as 5 pieces of pizza!!!!!) 6. Red, and orange taxi: red ones are often seen on the road and the orange ones I have only seen them at the airport. 7. Coffee: Not the biggest export country, but the best coffee in the world (1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th.) The top quality ones are mainly for exporting, so what we what we usually get in the super market are not the best ones. (Fun fact, CR grows more coffee than plantains!) 8. Crop: coffee, pineapple, corn, watermelon, papaya, strawberries, sugar cane, cassava and more. 9. Cassava chips (yuca chips) are awesome! Specially with freshly squeezed lemon juice! 10. Pura vida：(direct translation: pure life.) Usually said when greeting here.
